We are pleased to announce that Orienteed has obtained the Take Responsibility Company Seal, a distinction awarded by the Xunta de Galicia (the regional government of Galicia, Spain) to small and medium-sized enterprises that demonstrate a strong commitment to the principles of sustainability, social responsibility and good governance (ESG).
This recognition comes after successfully completing all phases of the "Take Responsibility" program, an initiative that promotes the transition of Galician SMEs toward more responsible and sustainable business models.
Orienteed is among the 207 SMEs that in this 4th edition of the Program, have received this official distinction, which places the company among a pioneering group leading the shift toward a fairer, more inclusive, and environmentally friendly economy.
What is the Take Responsibility Company Seal?
The Take Responsibility Company Seal is an institutional brand created by the Xunta de Galicia (Government of Galicia) to recognize micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have actively and systematically integrated ESG values into their strategy and operations. Obtaining this recognition requires passing a rigorous process that includes:
- Registration in the Xunta RSE porta and carrying out a sustainability self-diagnosis.
- Collaboration in a professional diagnosis of the company's current status in ESG matters.
- Completion of the course "ESG Fundamentals for Companies."
- Participation in individualized counseling sessions.
- Definition and commitment to a sustainability action plan.
This seal is valid for two years and positions the beneficiary companies as leaders in sustainability within the Galician business community.
Orienteed's commitment to sustainability
At Orienteed, we've been integrating best practices in sustainability, employee well-being, and transparency for years. However, participating in the Take Responsibility program has allowed us to structure this commitment more strategically, measuring our impact and developing a clear plan for continuous improvement.
Sara Tello Ruiz, our Head of Operations and Human Resources, who coordinated the project internally, highlights:
"This seal is much more than an accreditation. It reflects a collective effort that has involved all areas of the company. We have long been committed to a healthy, equal, and forward-looking work environment. Now, with this recognition, we take another step forward in our organizational maturity.".
